Antoneli Sinder is a Brazilian-born Toronto-based emerging mental health professional, with extensive multicultural background shaped by living, studying, and working across Latin America, North America and Europe.
With over two decades of experience in education, arts and community advocacy, including hospital-based volunteer work in neonatal ICU and palliative care, Antoneli integrates expressive, relational, and evidence-based techniques into her integrative healthcare practice. Her scholarly background in arts and culture enriches her therapeutic lens and her approach is grounded in cultural humility and neurodiversity-affirming principles. She has supported 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and underrepresented populations across educational and clinical settings throughout her professional and personal life.
As an emerging clinician dedicated to psychotherapy and psychological assessment, Antoneli draws from a rich interdisciplinary background that spans clinical psychology, rehabilitation, education, and the arts. Currently completing her Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School, she is working toward licensure with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and is under the supervision of Dr. Frida Marshi Nasser as a clinical resident. Antoneli is also an analytic trainee with the renowned Toronto Psychoanalytic Society & Institute in the rigorous and extensive program in theoretical and clinical psychoanalysis.
Antoneli is committed to co-creating safe, compassionate, and inclusive space where clients can feel deeply seen, heard, and supported as they navigate the complexities of their emotional lives and work towards their health and well-being. Drawing from psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and creative frameworks, she approaches therapy as a collaborative process that honours each person’s unique history, inner world, and strengths.
Antoneli has experience supporting clients through psychosocial rehabilitation, disability processes, and vocational return-to-work planning. She draws on her knowledge of psycho-vocational assessment, case management, humanistic, client-centered healthcare practices. Antoneli brings a warm, inclusive, and trauma-informed approach to her work with individuals navigating mental health challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, grief, loss, life transitions, trauma, and personality-related concerns. Her practice is rooted in the understanding that meaningful psychological work develops through relational depth, compassionate emotional exploration, and the collaborative creation of shared meaning.
